ASTC Travel Passport Program
With MPM membership, you’ll receive admission benefits at 300+ museums, thanks to the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) Travel Passport Program. The Travel Passport Program rewards you for supporting the Milwaukee Public Museum by giving you a benefit you can use while traveling.
In most cases, admission to participating museums is free, although some only offer discounts. Before planning a trip to a reciprocal museum, it's best to call the museum you plan to visit and confirm your admission benefits. Museums within a 90-mile radius of your home address may not reciprocate, and all benefits are subject to change.
Please click here for a current ASTC list, and see restrictions below.
Restrictions: MPM members don't receive reciprocity at Betty Brinn Children's Museum (Milwaukee), Discovery World (Milwaukee), the Paper Discovery Center (Appleton), or Oshkosh Public Museum (Oshkosh). Reciprocity at the Madison Children's Museum (Madison) is limited to Family level and above. Many Wisconsin museums enforce a residency rule (see current ASTC list). If you live closer to those museums than MPM, please call ahead to confirm your benefits with them. In Chicago, the Museum of Science and Industry offers 50 percent off admission only, and the admission benefit is limited to 2 adults and up to 4 children in the household.
ROAM
Sustainer and Donor Level memberships ($225 and above) receive admission benefits at nearly 300 additional museums, thanks to ROAM (Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums). ROAM gives you access to world-class museums of all sizes and types, including art, history, cultural centers, and more.
Through the ROAM program, you’ll receive general admission for two and member discounts in stores and restaurants. Before planning a trip to a reciprocal museum, it's best to call the museum you plan to visit and confirm your admission benefits. Benefits are subject to change.
