TICKETS ON SALE FOR MILWAUKEE PUBLIC MUSEUM’S
25th ANNIVERSARY OF SIGNATURE EVENT, FOOD & FROTH
Saturday, March 8, 2025: Adults-only event features food and drink samples throughout exhibits
MILWAUKEE — Tickets went on sale today, December 6, for the 25th anniversary of Milwaukee Public Museum’s (MPM) most popular fundraiser and signature adult event, Food & Froth. On Saturday, March 8, 2025, guests are invited to explore the Museum while listening to live music and sampling tasty brews and bites from dozens of local vendors set up throughout the exhibit floors. Ticket sales support MPM’s educational programming, community outreach, collections care and research.
“For 25 years, this beloved tradition has brought the community together to celebrate lifelong learning and local flavor,” said Julie Quinlan Brame, MPM Senior Vice President of Development. “By showcasing local breweries and restaurants alongside our exhibits, Food & Froth is a unique opportunity to explore, engage and enjoy, all while raising vital funds for the Museum. We’re grateful MPM fans continue to cherish this experience year after year and are excited to mark this milestone anniversary during the 2025 Food & Froth.”
The first Food & Froth took place in February 1999, created as a new way to attract the adult crowd. An immediate hit, the event sold 1,800 tickets—more than triple the expected turnout. Since then, Food & Froth has sold out nearly every year throughout the past two and a half decades (it took a two-year hiatus during the pandemic), expanded from one exhibit floor to all three floors, doubled the number of participating vendors and raised a cumulative $3 million.
Food & Froth general admission tickets are $100/person. Tickets are available online at www.mpm.edu/beer or by calling 414-278-2728 or 888-700-9069. The admission fee covers entrance to all three exhibit floors of the Museum, food and alcohol samples and live entertainment from 7 to 9:30 p.m. You must be at least 21 years of age to attend, and a valid identification and ticket are required for entrance into the event.
For $200, guests can go VIP! They’ll get exclusive early entrance to the main event floors from 6 to 7 p.m., plus VIP-only access to the VIP Lounge until 10 p.m. The VIP Lounge includes entertainment, select craft beverage samples and unlimited appetizers.
